Mon, May 23 – Stage 1 Update (part 1)
We have several things to share in this blog post, including a summary of where things stand, how you—as an EarlyBird user—can help, and what’s coming.
Where Things Stand
It’s been about a week since we launched Stage 1 of the Digital Delivery (DD) project. In that time thousands of users have been testing the features. This testing is helping us to prepare a list of changes, additions and fixes for when we launch Stage 2.
In the beginning, Sellers were generally listing very low-quality products, but as time goes on, the quality has gradually been improving. The 5-star rating system gives Buyers a voice—remember to use it. Sellers are realizing that they must offer a high-quality product and then actually deliver what they promise in order to earn a high ranking and stay listed.
The good news is that Buyer feedback forces competition among Sellers. As Sellers continue to compete for the top positions, the quality of products offered on VirtaPay will continue to get better and better.
Buyers beware. We have already covered this, and we will keep repeating it for as long as it seems necessary. Please avoid any item that offers money exchange (to PayPal, AlertPay, etc), or any item that offers a physical product (laptops, cell phones, tablet computers). These items are on our Prohibited Items List. To buy these items is to throw your earnings in the trash.
How You Can Help
Each day we deposit bonuses into the accounts of active VirtaPay EarlyBird users as a reward for using and testing our system as we develop it. Here are some ways you can help now that we are into Stage 1 (and preparing for Stage 2) of the DD project.
…how Buyers can help…
Did you know that a highly-rated product could earn you a legitimate, steady flow of “regular money” to your existing bank account? When Stage 2 launches, we will provide detailed methods and instructions to help Sellers do exactly this. In addition, Sellers will get specific instructions on how to produce high-quality, original products that Buyers will love and naturally reward with high ratings.
Although the earning potential for Sellers is high, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a Buyer, a Seller or both. In Stage 2, all VirtaPay users will learn methods they can use to start a steady flow of “regular money” into an existing bank account using VirtaPay.
We’ll have more to share over the coming days and weeks. Thanks for participating as we work to take VirtaPay to the next level.

…how Buyers can help…
- Please don’t forget to rate or flag every purchase you make. Your feedback on items is critical—your rating or flagging helps to separate the winning items from the, well, not-so-winning items.
- Be on the lookout for high-quality original products and give them the high rating they deserve. Please only flag items that are on the Prohibited Items List (physical products, money exchanges, anything illegal, and so on).
- Don’t post items on the Prohibited Items List. We are actively terminating accounts of Sellers who post prohibited items.
- Improve the quality of items you offer. Think originality and quality. Please have a look at the Established Items. Take a few minutes to think about how you can make and offer better quality products. How did the top items get to the top? Why do Buyers prefer those items? Focus on creating quality products that Buyers will be happy to rate highly.
